Today was spent mostly working on my website and getting things working! The index page is ready to go, but so many menus haven't been updated to reflect the new background layout. Here's a fresh new look! I've shifted over to using VScode and changing how I do things around here (goodbye neocities text editor, you will be missed). I drew all the assets myself, including a new cursor! Neat, right?

Anyways, that was all a preamble to the meat of this blog post, I'm actually learning how to work more efficiently!! I'm having a blast learning HTML on the side and although I've no plans to turn this into a full time thing, I Still want to have a nice webdev portofolio and personal site to boot, hence my revamp!

Truth be told, I'll miss the ransom letter layout. I'll memorialize it through my site button, because I can't be bothered to change it. But that layout had so much jank and had so many scattered files (>_<). I've downloaded and archived my old layout- this time I'm going to be more diligent about keeping my digital workspace tidy and organized.

If all goes smoothly, I'll pivot to self-hosting and buying my own domain name. No shade to neocities, love her, but 5 dollars a month is a lot to ask in this economy. My dad is going to help me too with the backend stuff, hopefully. Lastly, I could yap on and on about making this new layout, but I'll save the ramblefest for later! I need to update a lot of layouts and make new pages! Toodles!
