I'm almost done with my site! I only have to do the OCs page and restructure how I want my ransom note letters to be displayed for ease of use.

I have plans to move to self-hosting and off of neocities so I can have a proper backend, but I'll try to keep a static version of my site available! I'd hate to see the small neighborhood I've fostered go to waste (QwQ)

Now that a lot of my new web dev stuff is done, I can focus back to con prep! I've opened pre orders and to my surprise three people placed pre orders! Yipee my awesome sugoi life. I'm selling starvew valley keychains but only for domestic, Indonesian orders. You can look at my catalogue on my twitter!

So after this week is over, I'm planning on dealing with logistics for two days and then placing a big acrylic order for the keychains.

Oh my god, let me tell you about my vendor issues. The first acrylic vendor I went to had a great color match and took about a week of manufacturing, but the defect rate was so high (one out of three had an issue) and they didn't answer my emails or messages so I have to change vendors. This is problematic because by the second text print I shouldve had a vendor of choice, but unfortunately I'll have to make the best out of next month to get all the vendor and production logistics sorted.

The good news is, I changed my button pin vendor from a smaller one to a more established vendor and the colors came so much better! The price wasn't all that different, since they're only 32mm button pins with a doff finish.

So the button pins are done, the acrylic part of the keychain needs to be sorted, and pre orders are going smoothly. I did feel a little bit insecure and pathetic being late to manufacturing and vendor shopping, but my friend convinced me that it's normal for artists to wrestle with vendors like this.

Lastly, I need to prep change for the con! I gotta collect small bills for cash payments on the spot :'D There will be a cashless option (my boothmate has set one up for us) but I personally prefer cash wherever I go!

Less than two more months until CF21! Can't wait (>_<) :::
